George Bernard Shaw is credited with the statement that “Youth is wasted on the youngâ€. And while true, I wonder if it isn’t true that young people realize best, through the living of it, what it means to be young – to be able to dare to stand high enough to look beyond the horizon of now by wondering what will be. What will I do? What will I see? How old will I come to be? Who will I know? Will I have children, and who will I fall in love with? While impossible to see beyond the horizon, young minds never cease to wonder, and their lives are fashioned by the power of their hunger for visions of the future.
